The meeting was hosted by Welcome Trust/India Government for all Welcome Trust fellows based in India. Ogunshola was one of six African Trainees representing guests from the African Academy of Sciences (AESA) - custodians of the DELTAS Africa programme which co-manages 11 programmes including SANTHE.

“The meeting was geared towards building collaborative and sustainable relationships between India Welcome Trust fellows and Delta Africa trainees. It provided me with the opportunity to get some feedback on my research project and to learn some new things that other researchers are doing. I am extremely grateful for the entire experience,” he said.
