DATA SCIENCE FOR BIOLOGY SERIES: Working with High Dimensional Data in R – Human Microbiome Applications

We are pleased to invite you to a workshop exploring working with high dimensional data in R for human microbiome applications such as 16S data processing, 16S analysis and practical considerations for clinical research. This exciting workshop will run April 22- 26, 2024 in Durban, SA.

Application requirements: There are no fees required to attend this course; a computer is required.

This event is for all clinical and biological researchers with working R experience3 and are currently working with microbiome data or will do so in the near feature. Data Science for Biology is a 3-workshop series on data analysis and visualization techniques using R for clinical/basic biological research. By the end of the series, participants will learn fundamental computational skills, bioinformatics best practices, exploratory data analysis, and modeling techniques. Following workshops will occur in October 2024.
