Support Teams
SANTHE’s success to date is largely due to its highly organised and efficient governance and oversight structure. The network is led by a Consortium Steering Committee of scientific experts, whilst it’s day-to-day activities are undertaken by a well-qualified secretariat. SANTHE also benefits from the support of a Scientific Advisory Board and several other advisory panels which all provide specialised and additional guidance.

Scientific Advisory Board
This team of outstanding, internationally recognised scientists, provide scientific and capacity building advice to the consortium. They meet annually to provide input on the quality and direction of our ongoing science.

Consortium Secretariat
This team functions as the research management arm of the consortium. It includes administration, communication, monitoring and evaluation, grants and finance experts, who meet weekly to oversee the administration of the programme.

Scientific Expert Review Committee
This team evaluates all incoming grant proposals and manages and provides oversight to the review processes. Members are drawn from our supervisor pool (of over 100 expert supervisors from our sites and their affiliated institutions.
