BHP Site Visit, Gaborone, Botswana, February 2024

Members of the SANTHE Secretariat and funders, as well as PI’s from all SANTHE sites in Sub-Saharan Africa, visited the Botswana site – the Botswana Harvard Health Partnership (BHP) – in Gaborone 28-29 February, to hear from the SANTHE Fellows based there on how their projects were progressing and to see how BHP is conducting its science. The visit was a great success and was enjoyed by all.

SANTHE is an Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) flagship programme funded by the Science for Africa Foundation through the DELTAS Africa programme; the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Gilead Sciences Inc.; and the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard.
