Arnold Lambisia is a Kenyan biomedical researcher based at the KEMRI–Wellcome Trust Research Programme in Kilifi, Kenya. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics from Egerton University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya.
From 2019 to 2023, he worked as a bioinformatics research officer, focusing on the evolutionary and transmission dynamics of enteric and respiratory viruses in Kenya and other African countries.
His SANTHE research project focuses on the evolutionary dynamics of beta coronaviruses within and between human hosts in general populations. His work aims to improve understanding of how these viruses adapt, spread, and persist in human populations.
