Kim Waddilove is a qualified journalist who worked in the media industry in Johannesburg and Durban, South Africa, for a couple of years before entering the advertising, marketing and PR sector as a copywriter for some top national agencies. Here she honed her communication and project management skills for 20 years before moving across to work in research support for SANTHE where she now uses her varied experience to facilitate strategic communications for the consortium.

SANTHE is an Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) flagship programme funded by the Science for Africa Foundation through the DELTAS Africa programme; the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Gilead Sciences Inc.; and the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard.
