Miliswa Magongo has extensive experience in project management, communications, and stakeholder engagement in HIV and reproductive health. She holds a Master of Social Science degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Her current research focuses on the socio-behavioural dimensions of HIV cure science, with particular attention to community engagement, trust, and the social implications of emerging biomedical interventions. Her work aims to bridge the gap between scientific advances and community understanding, contributing to the development of inclusive and sustainable HIV cure strategies.
