Dell-Dylan Kenfack Ngouajio is a scientist based at the Centre de Recherche en Maladies Émergentes et Réémergentes (CREMER)/Institut de Recherches Médicales et d’Études des Plantes Médicinales (IMPM) in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Yaoundé I (2023), where his research focused on evaluating SARS-CoV-2 serological tests across different phases of the COVID-19 pandemic in Cameroon. This work led to a first-author peer-reviewed publication and presentations at international conferences.
He is currently conducting research on the impact of HIV-1M strains on immune cell metabolism and immune dysregulation under the supervision of Dr Marcel Tongo. He has also trained at the Centre International de Référence Chantal Biya (CIRCB), gaining experience in wet-lab techniques such as flow cytometry as well as data analysis using R.
His broader research experience includes contributions to projects on HIV, HBV, HPV, and malaria, with a strong interest in biostatistics and computational approaches. Beyond research, he is involved in community health screening initiatives in rural Cameroon and is passionate about biostatistics, computing, reading, and sports.
