She is a biomedical scientist specialising in Clinical Biochemistry and is currently a DPhil candidate at the University of Zimbabwe.

Her research focuses on the risk factors and genomic profiles associated with insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome in adults living with HIV who are receiving dolutegravir (DTG)-based antiretroviral therapy. This work contributes to pharmacovigilance efforts in real-world HIV treatment cohorts.

Her broader research interests include HIV therapy and non-communicable disease comorbidities, pharmacogenomics, and the use of biochemical markers in disease monitoring. She also has extensive experience working as a diagnostic biomedical scientist and research officer.
