Tarryn Tomlinson is a Research Psychology (MA) graduate from Wits University in Johannesburg, South Africa. She began working in biomedical research management in 2012. She is the Grants & Administration Manager at Thumbi Ndung’u’s HIV Pathogenesis Programme (HPP) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in Durban, South Africa, as well as Ndung’u’s Executive Personal Assistant at AHRI. As Ndung’u is also SANTHE’s Programme Director, Tomlinson is responsible for all administrative and scientific support functions related to that role as well.

SANTHE is an Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) flagship programme funded by the Science for Africa Foundation through the DELTAS Africa programme; the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Gilead Sciences Inc.; and the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard.
