Monkgomotsi Josephine Manewe Maseng is a SANTHE MPhil Research fellow in Biomedical Sciences currently with Botswana Harvard Partnership affiliated with University of Botswana. She is a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist with a combination of 15 years of experience of lab work and academic work. She did her undergrad in Bachelor of Applied Sciences with Honors, Laboratory Medicine and Royal Melbourne International Technology, University in Australia. Her interest areas are both in Mtb and HIV research. Her current project is titled: Pharmacogenetics of Efaverinz and Nevirapine and possible associated risk of selecting for HIV drug resistance mutations in Botswana.
